As you know, the mission of Beta Alpha Psi is to inspire and support excellence amongst its members. Two ways Beta Alpha Psi does this is by providing opportunities for service, and fostering lifelong ethical, social, and public responsibilities. In 2019, we celebrated Beta Alpha Psi’s 100 year anniversary in Chicago. My theme for the 2020 Annual Meeting was Honor the Past and Embrace the Future. So that poses the question – How is Beta Alpha Psi going to embrace the future?

We are pleased to announce our Giving Back in the Next 100 Initiative. What are YOU going to do to truly give back and make a difference in your community?
We know that sometimes a barrier that keeps people from volunteering is not knowing where to volunteer. Our friends at KPMG and Paul Wiese, Professional Partner from Surgent Professional Education reached out to the Beta Alpha Psi Professional Partners to find out what organizations are near and dear to their hearts and where they volunteer. This information has been captured in the Professional Partner Community Impact Programs section of this page. To get you started, we’ve also added a few other organizations and ideas of where you can volunteer.

Our Challenge is for each chapter to track the chapter and individual member’s volunteer hours. There’s even a spreadsheet to get you started (feel free to use your own form). Prior to the 2021 Annual Meeting, we’ll send out a communication to capture this information, and it will be shared at our Annual Meeting Kickoff.
